Winder-Barrow High School’s band program delivered an exceptional showing at this year’s Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE), bringing home multiple top‑tier ratings across all performing ensembles. Symphonic Winds – Superior Ratings

The Symphonic Winds ensemble earned Superior on Stage and Superior in Sight Reading, the highest ratings possible. These scores reflect outstanding performance quality, technical skill, and musical expression.

Symphonic Band – Superior Ratings

The Symphonic Band also achieved Superior on Stage and Superior in Sight Reading, showcasing the depth and consistency of the WBHS band program.

Concert Band – Excellent and Superior Ratings

Rounding out the impressive set of performances, the Concert Band received an Excellent on Stage rating along with a Superior in Sight Reading distinction, highlighting both strong preparation and adaptability under pressure.
