Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

    My name is Israel Mata and this will be my 1st year at Winder-Barrow High School. I have taught at West Hall High School for the last 5 years. This year I will be teaching Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Spanish 3. I will be coaching boy's varsity basketball as an assistant. I attended Georgia Southern University where I obtained my Bachelors in Modern languages and Masters of Arts in Spanish Literature.

    My contact hours are before school 7:00-7:30, or after school 2:35-3:00.

    Tutoring is available before and after school daily except during sports season, please schedule an appointment with me if you are attending.
